Description for the ADS1220EVM
The ADS1220 evaluation module (EVM) is a development platform for the ADS1220, which is a 24-bit, multichannel, delta-sigma (ΔΣ) analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The EVM uses the ADS1220 along with minimal circuitry to demonstrate functionality for prototyping and part evaluation.
The pins of the ADS1220 are accessible through various connections on ADS1220EVM connectors. The EVM also contains a MSP430 for use with a personal computer. The EVM allows for connection to a computer via a USB port.
ADS1220EVM is controlled by the ADCPro™ evaluation software using a plug-in. The software is designed to run with the Microsoft® Windows™ operating system and allows for the complete evaluation of the ADS1220.
