Overview

The MDL-LM4F211CNCD is a Texas Instruments' (TI) motor controlCARD module designed to operate with TI’s DRV83xx baseboards. It can be purchased with a DRV8312 baseboard as part of the DK-LM4F-DRV8312 development kit to spin 3-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motors.

The Stellaris LM4F211 microcontroller (MCU) on the MDL-LM4F211CNCD controlCARD is pre-programmed with the necessary firmware in its flash memory to run a simple application for verification of operation and can also be reprogrammed by the customer to operate with other compatible baseboards to control other motors or end-customer applications.

The Stellaris LM4F211-based controlCARD module can be used in the following Texas Instruments' baseboards:

  • DRV8312 EVM, Rev D
  • DRV8301-HC and DRV8302-HC (High Current, 60 A) EVM Kits, Rev C+
