The AM335x starter kit (EVM-SK) provides a stable and affordable platform with Mainline Linux™ to quickly start evaluation of Sitara™ Arm® Cortex®-A8 AM335x processors (AM3351, AM3352, AM3354, AM3356, AM3358) and accelerate development for factory automation, building automation, smart grid, and various other networking applications. AM335x is a low-cost family of processors available at less than $3 (in volume) and is integrated with options such as dual gigabit Ethernet, DDR3 and LCD touch screen. DDR3 interface reduces BOM costs and delivers faster memory throughput. The EVM comes with a Processor SDK (Software Development Kit) for providing easy setup and fast out-of-the-box access to benchmarks and demos.
