The Texas Instruments TPS61176EVM-566 evaluation module (EVM) helps designers evaluate the operation and performance of the TPS61176 , which are multi-channel WLED drivers providing highly integrated solutions for tablet or notebook PCs, which can support single-cell battery input directly. The EVM is designed to operate from an input voltage source ranging from 2.7V-6.5V, and provides a 125mA maximum output current for 6-channel LEDs. For a single channel, there can be 10 to 12 LEDs in series if TI’s WLEDEVM-260 (WLED Load Board) is used.
